Quinton de Kock, the century man, lit up the World Cup with yet another stunning hundred. This was de Kock’s second century in a row, following his 84-ball century against Sri Lanka in their opening encounter for his first World Cup ton. de Kock back-to-back-centuries lit the World Cup 2023.
The 30-year-old scored his 19th ODI century off 90 balls, hitting eight fours and five sixes. He also scored a century in South Africa’s opening victory over Sri Lanka.
In the 16th over, De Kock reached his half-century. He hit back-to-back boundaries right after the first drinks break to aid the combination with Temba Bavuma, who played an ugly knock, close in on three figures. De Kock reached his century against Australia in the 30th over.

De Kock, who will retire from international cricket at the end of the competition, was batting at the Ekana Stadium, where he plays for the Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL.
